Insulator Installation Safety

  • It should be packed well and prohibit to save it with others, like tools, paper. Once it strikes with tough items strongly, it will lose the original feature or damage;
  • When lifting the insulator, the knot should be hit on the end attachment, and it is strictly forbidden to hit the shed or sheath. When the rope must touch the shed and sheath, the touching part should be wrapped with a soft cloth;
  • Do not use the composite insulator as an auxiliary tool for putting or receiving the line, so as not to damage the insulator by force;
  • When installing the voltage equalizing ring, it should be adjusted so that the ring is perpendicular to the axis of the insulator. For the open type voltage equalizing ring, pay attention to the same opening direction at both ends, so as to facilitate discharge.
